🛡️October was Cybersecurity month! If you didn’t get a chance, check out our recent twitter thread for some tips on avoiding phishing attempts, authenticating dApps, reading audit reports, and backing up private keys.

🔥The Layer 2 landscape is heating up, recently hitting a milestone of $5B TVL. This past month, OffchainLabs announced upcoming plans to launch Arbitrum Nitro, the next iteration of Arbitrum which is more EVM-compatible and significantly faster.

🏈Dapper Labs has been making moves. They recently announced an NFT deal with the NFL to create collectible video highlights for fans, as well as their intention to expand into the DAO space.

🔥Firestarter: A launchpad for initial metaverse offerings (IMOs). Firestarter also earned 4 badges in their recent audit, a rare achievement among Quantstamp clients.

📈 Fodl Finance: A decentralized leverage trading with no funding rates.

🧊Popsicle Finance: A multichain yield optimization platform for liquidity providers.

🗿Reflexer: Building RAI, the first non pegged, stable asset backed only by ETH.


Events

October was a busy month for events!

🇵🇹 Much of the Quantstamp team went to Portugal to attend Lisbon Blockchain Week, including Liscon and several side events.

🏰 On October 16, we participated in NFCastle in Prague, an exhibition showcasing NFTs from influential artists and collectors, including Edward Snowden and PleasrDAO, at the Lobkowicz Palace.

🏎️ We sponsored the MercedesAMG car driven by Maro Engel in the 2021 Indianapolis 8 Hours, an endurance race that took place on October 17.

🐟 True to brand, Quantstamp also hosted a tuna party with some friends and colleagues to wrap up the week in Lisbon.
